I began crafting wood in 2001 as a hobbyist, building furniture and cabinets for my family. In 2012, after 19 years as a software developer and tester at Microsoft in Seattle, I began my career in woodworking.
That same year, my family and I decided to move to Des Moines and get back to our Midwestern roots. Although I didn't grow up in the state, my parents are both native Iowans, and I spent four years at Iowa State University, were I received a degree from the College of Design. I also hold a computer science degree from the University of Washington.
As a professional woodworker, I use my engineering and design background in all of my projects, along with the desire to work with my hands and interact directly with my customers.
Thank you for visiting my website, and I look forward to working with you to improve the beauty and functionality of your home.
